All upgrades obtained. Not a bad little game.

Some feedback and suggestions:

  1. Offline progression - Being an HTML/browser game, the game just halts when you lose focus, such as when scrolling down here to read comments. This is also a pain when you play multiple games at once, which I often do (particularly when reaching end of content in one)

  2. Automatic Coin Collection - You’ve got manager-type upgrades that add new NPCs to serve various purposes. I’d love to see an upgrade for automatically collecting those coins. Maybe a roomba or something?

  3. Statistics - A way to check current price of books would be amazing, maybe a stats button somewhere? Just a one-screen breakdown of prices would be nice, along with anything else you think belongs there.

  4. Sleeping = Skip - Having a customer fall asleep while they are trying to line up completely halts the selling of books until the customer is woken up by mouse hover. Some way to avoid this would be appreciated.

  5. Caffeine Rush - Customers who have purchased coffee shouldn’t be falling asleep, in my honest opinion.

  6. Confirmation - Both the Reset button (in settings) and the end of demo need some kind of popup confirmation. In the case of the Reset, just a quick “Are you sure?” type thing; and when the last upgrade is purchased it would be nice to see a “Demo Completed” type notif as well.

  7. Character Skins - Just for fun, I’d like to be able to customize the clerk’s appearance lol.

  8. Arcade - A simple arcade machine in the corner of the room that people can play for a small fee, primarily to give them something to do while the bookshelves have a crowd around them. (Upgrades for earnings and more machines)

  9. Cat/Dog - A pet in a bookstore might be a fun addition. Boosts sale price by a small amount per upgrade (could fit into the global multi in upgrades)

I think that’s it for the current update. (A Small Update May 3rd(?) 2026) Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the final version.
