Looking for feedback on my visual novel game "Crucible Of Acceptance"

This game is in a very early version and technically using my own framework which is built on godot. It is not much right now and no sound effect or music. If you guys give feedback about Quality of Life, story and issues you have encountered that would be great!

Thanks in advance :)

Update: v0.2 now includes music and sound effects.

This is a short browser prototype, approximately X minutes. I’m looking for five testers for three questions:

Where did the opening become clear or confusing?

Did the audio support the mood or become distracting?

Did the first choice feel meaningful?

I like the idea, but 99% of the time the choice is continue so there doesn't seem to be any point

Thanks for your feedback. Will need to work on that.

Update: Version 2.5.0 is now live!

Thank you to everyone who tested the prototype and shared feedback. One important point was that too many interactions ended with “Continue,” which made the game feel too linear. I’ve worked directly on that feedback in this update.

Choices involving Boran now contribute to a hidden relationship system that can affect how your journey develops. The update also includes:

  • A brand-new playable section
  • A new Hunger stat
  • Fixes for character display issues
  • Several smaller bug fixes

I’m looking for testers again! After playing, I’d especially like to know:

  • Do the choices with Boran feel more distinct and meaningful now?
  • Did anything in the new section feel confusing, slow, or broken?
  • Did you notice any visual issues?
  • What would you expect the Hunger stat to affect in future versions?

You can play the latest build here: https://frostpunchinteractive.itch.io/crucible-of-acceptance

Thanks again—your feedback directly helped shape this update!
