✦  Judge Awards

🏆 Best Use of AI / Tools — WIND//SWEPT
Codex across design, coding and testing—plus a gameplay bot built for the trailer, Playwright capture and FFmpeg assembly. A standout use of the tooling itself, not only AI-generated assets.

🌍 Best World — Pet Rock
A strange retro-advert aesthetic, creepy-cozy narrative, distinctive dialogue and the relationship between the player, their mother and a suspicious pet rock create a memorable little world.

⭐ Judges' Pick — Rock Star Pebble
Ambitious, charming and memorable, with enough originality and personality to earn the pick despite its rough edges.

Great games come from vision and iteration, not from who hand-typed every line or hand-drew every pixel. Build an immersive world with whatever gets you there: AI art, AI audio, coding agents, asset packs, your own hands, or all of it at once. Bring the experience. We judge that, not your process.

✦  The Theme

ROCK

Material, movement, music, metaphor—or something else entirely.

Mine it. Stack it. Build with it. Climb it. Roll it. Rock the stage. Rock the boat. Hit rock bottom. Become someone’s rock. Befriend a pet rock. Reinvent rock–paper–scissors.

These are only examples—not a checklist. Surprise us with your interpretation.

✦  The Deal

  • 72 hours. The theme is live: ROCK. Build, ship, done.
  • Any tool, no apologies. Generative AI, coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot), asset packs, any engine.
  • Solo or team, any size. A browser build is encouraged, so more people play and rate you.

✦  How Entries Are Judged

Voting is by participants and invited judges, never the public. Four things, each rated 1 to 5:

  1. Immersion. Did it pull you into its world and hold you there?
  2. Player Experience. Was it fun and satisfying to play, moment to moment?
  3. Cohesion & Craft. Does it hold together as one finished, consistent piece?
  4. Theme. How well does it use the theme revealed at kickoff?

Plus judge-picked spotlight awards:

✦  The Rules

Disclose your tools

List what you used on your submission page (for example Claude Code, Midjourney, Suno). If you used no AI tools, say so. It is a badge of honor here, not a confession. No disclosure means no entry.

Use assets you are allowed to use

You are responsible for your tools' terms and any third-party claims on what you generate. No trademarked or infringing content.

You keep 100% of your work

We will not train any model on your submission. We may feature entries to promote the jam.

Show craft

Obvious zero-effort, single-prompt dumps may be removed. The bar is a real experience, made well.

Be decent

This is a build-cool-stuff space. Tool-shaming and flame wars get moderated.

The theme is ROCK. The clock is running—hit Join jam at the top of this page and start building.
