If you’ve ever lost a tactical battle and immediately thought, “Wait, let me try that again”—you’re in the right place.
Daedalus Games is a solo studio dedicated to turn-based, hex-grid roguelikes with a simple philosophy: positioning is everything. No gear-checks, no mindless grinding. It’s all about where you stand, your line of sight, and when to press the advantage. Every run is a fresh puzzle, every death is a lesson learned, and finding the perfect sequence of moves is the whole point.
Tower of Babylon is your proving ground: one hero, 100 floors, and a difficulty curve that punishes autopilot. When you want more moving parts, Tower of Babylon: Rebirth hands you a three-hero party with shared spells and upgrades. It means more tactical freedom, but also infinitely more ways for a run to go sideways. Both run natively in your browser—zero friction between you and floor one.
Currently in development is Box of Pandora, which brings an extraction loop to the hex grid. Venture out, recruit a squad, and try to make it back with your haul. A wiped party means losing your loot, but persistent class levels and base upgrades ensure even a total disaster leaves you stronger.
Further down the pipeline: Rogue Party (true permadeath party tactics), followed by Rogue Party World and Battle for Middle Hex.
