Evolving Valley

Here's something I noticed Im suprised that didn't have any unique text or dialogue for it: (spoilers, ofc)

been trying to figure out how to "ragebait meowstic", and was trying to get julia to flake on her promise to meowstic by promising before she turns, and I did (to the extent where she's in body a lot like a noivern, just not named noivern yet), and it led to meowstic not getting the scene where she hunts with julia, but there wasn't any mention of it at all,and meowstic just didn't do anything afterwards. which i was kinda dissapointed by, since i thought i was onto something with julia's promise not being kept leading to something considering it specifically had the day later condition. 

I love how well thought out the game is!

Spoilers, but here are the notes I've taken on the game

I haven't been able to complete it, but I'm determined!

Arthur the Adventurer: Chuck gives him a sword if they are both in the camp; then Arthur will go out adventuring before reappearing as Sir Arvine the Serpentine Knight the next day. Carmine will give Sir Arvine a potion if they are both in the camp. Then Sir Arvine goes out adventuring and disappears for 2 days (will be revealed to have transformed into Serperior, the Self-Proclaimed Tyrant)

Carmine the Chemist: uses 3 "wagon full of berries" to make each potion, has Rohan go get seaweed; after 1 day with the seaweed, he'll become 1/2 transformed; after 1 more day, he'll fully transform into Octillery the Mix-&-Match Multitasker (unknown if blocks interactions)

Chuck the Craftsman: after giving 2 items, he'll become 1/4 transformed, giving a 3rd item and he'll become 2/4 transformed (unless missed), when the orb is collected, he'll become 3/4 transformed (2nd and/or 3rd items can't be made if the orb was collected before them) and the orb will be cleaned, after building the rift spire he'll fully transform into Tinkaton the Stone-Forged Menace before leaving the camp (unless other items missed). Can feed Meowstic food scraps.

Rohan the Fisherman: Chuck gives him a better fishing rod if they are both in the camp which allows him to catch 1 fish every day, after 1 day with the fishing rod he'll become 1/3 transformed, after another 2 days he'll become 2/3 transformed, Meowstic can steal a fish from him before it can be counted to the inventory (only if she's healed) if Sir Arvine is missing for 2 days he'll go look for him and go missing (if 2/3 transformed he'll find Serperior and be given a stone tablet, as he returns to camp he'll fully transform into Eelektross the Sea Monster, he'll leave the stone tablet and disappear into the sea) (he'll go missing 1st if it's both the day he becomes 2/3 transformed and the day he looks for Sir Arvine)

Julia the Forager: becomes a Noivern after 6 days (including her 1st day in camp) and won't be able to do her interactions with the others, Chuck gives her a wagon if they are both in the camp which allows her to add 1 "wagon full of berries" to the camp's inventory (even as a Noivern after 1 day of no berries), can find the rift's location if Simon (unless fully transformed) asked to go map the area out, Meowstic can beg Julia to go hunting with it (only if she's healed) (they will go hunting the next day)

Evelyn the Mage and Meowstic: Meowstic gets sick on its 1st day (unless it's day 8) (Carmine can give a potion ONLY THAT DAY to Ivory to help heal Meowstic, but that ends up with Meowstic turning Evelyn into another Meowstic as revenge for emotional neglect... (Sir Arvine's potion event will always override it), Evelyn (even as Meowstic #2) can gather Julia and Chuck to go build the rift spire if both the rift location and the cleaned orb are in the camp's inventory

Simon the Researcher: Becomes Galvantula the Cave Matriarch at the end of his 2nd day in camp; will have Rohan go get an orb if they are both in the camp (can't as Galvantula)

Ivory the Pokémon Medic: can mostly heal Meowstic if they are both in the camp (gets hurt when potion is used), will check in on Simon if they are both in the camp (gets attacked if Simon is the Galvantula), will try to check on Eelektross before he disappears, only to get hurt. Transforms into Mismagius, the Spectre of Nightmares, if hurt 3 times

3 things are needed for the optimal ending: Rift Spire, Meowstic Duo (former owner Meowstic and original Meowstic), and stone tablet

There are 8 days before the game ends, each allowing 1 character to join camp

Hey uh, I noticed something that seemed a bit incorrect in the story. (spoilers:)

I think you mixed up the meowstic genders in the evelyn's scene after her former pet got given the potion? like i checked some pokemon wikis and stuff just to make sure, and the mainly dark blue meowstic with the white fur tips and blue/green eyes are the males, and the ones with mainly white fur and blue fur tips, with red and yellow eyes are the female ones? like idk if you just mixed them up, or if in your world its in reverse colors compared to the official pokemon designs, or if the meowstic also swapped the genders of both of them when turning evelyn or something? just wanted to ask. or maybe i misremembered evelyn's pet being darker blue? cuz i played again and now its definitely a girl meowstic,so i'm not sure if i just misremembered, or maybe the gender is random, or what?

Grow Island and other games were my childhood, so it was great to play a game inspired by them. Almost got the True Ending myself, just couldn't figure out the mage placement.
Also, the secret ending is funny, meow :3
