I Turned My BFF's Dogs Human! [DEMO]

STORY
When her bestie Kai asks her to dog-sit for him, Kiki jumps at the opportunity hoping that just talking through her feelings with anyone--even dogs--will help heal her heartache and give her clarity. But as the days drone on and dreams of her ex-lover plague her, Kiki grows frustrated with her inability to meaningfully communicate with the dogs. She resorts to using magic to make talking with them easier. But her spell backfires turning the dogs human instead of making them speak human. Can she turn them back before Kai returns, and can she still get the healing and clarity she wants?

Really fun demo! I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops though I have a couple of suggestions and questions.
Does waking up Monty affect the game negatively in anyway? It feels strange to directly go against Kai's notes like that.
The choosing to do chores, play with dogs, or eat function seems a little clunky since the game stops you from actually choosing between the two and eating doesn't seem to be required.
Perhaps consider adding a bigger notice in the page description about only Kai & Satoru being romancable? At first glace this does seem to be an otome about dogs turned human
All in all I love the art style and colors of the game! I wish you well in the game dev process

1) that's a great question! currently, no. waking monty up doesn't affect the game in a bad way. i actually forgot about kai's note, so thank you for reminding me about that! i think peeps will want to interact with monty, so i'll make it easier to actually interact with him rather than poke and prod him to wake up.
2) ooo great feedback, thank you! currently, choosing to do a chore from the get-go skips interacting with the dogs, which is why the game makes sure u play with the dogs first. i also added the "eat" function to increase energy so you'd have more energy to use at night if you used a lot of energy during the day. i think when i was first balancing stats and stuff, my thought was peeps would want to pet and chat with the pups more than once per day and night, so i was worried they'd run out of energy.

I loved this game!! I went in expecting to fall for the doggos and you did not disappoint, you had no business making Monty THAT fine... I'm never gonna beat the furry allegations lol! I adore Kiki and the facial expressions were HILARIOUS (and I love that sis has a full wardrobe). I can't wait to play more of the game and finally see Kai, cus I KNOW he's hot AF!

Just finished, it was super cute! Kiki is so funny, I'm obsessed with all her expressions, my gosh. Also, Curtis is number one best boy/good boy lol. Though, I'm determined to make Mochi love me!
Even if this is "bare bones" as you said, there's so much care and thought put in it. From the gameplay to the doggos to all of Kiki's adorable clothing (Mochi is wrong, Kiki does have excellent taste in fashion.) I also love the little pieces of Kiki and Satoru mixed in, hmmm I don't know how I would choose between him and Kai aaaaa.
Overall cute, fun start! Definitely excited to see how it plays out <3

unfortunately, u can't date the dogs. they're ur friends! u can befriend them! but choices u make will change kiki's dreams and thoughts about her ex-boyfriend, Satoru, or her friend, Kai. at the end of the game, she'll either choose to reconnect with Satoru OR confess her feelings to Kai
