uploaded my extended demo video earlier , itch,io wouldnt let me upload again

Here you go!

thanks

(+1)

i tried putting my video here , but it kept saying video is invalid or something, but my channel name is Tardisbooma if you want to check it out.

Dunno why Itch refuses to post your video, I found it on YT easily:

not too sure , but it was a great demo regardless

can you explain how the height and weight works as it kept throwing me off in the game .

Baby's height/weight are tied to parent ones, but actually it really hard to judge by that two params, so we removed those from Steam version. Also, if you want to check out current playtest version, you can email us on [email protected] and we'll send you a Steam key.

hey I have a question? how do you switch the light from one baby to the next so you can see all of their names if you are trying to follow the secret letters?

nevermind I figured it out.

hey , i registered to playtest this on steam, if granted access , would i be able to record this for my channel?

Hey, yes!

thx so much

Pretty fun! If you made it so that the eyes were Punnett Squares it would even be a good way for students to understand how it works in the traditional sense they'll see in textbooks. I actually learned about blood types through this so that was really nice.

But, I can't sympathize/work for with the secret organization because they hadn't given me a good reason to really split up a child from their biological mother and father.

I'd like to see a more fleshed out version of this game where the parents are more varied.

A comment sign for the creator. That thieves stole his game, hard work, and passion. How guiltless they are to make his dream away.

The bible references with the secret organization are very on the nose, maybe muddy the waters a bit and hide it deeper.

I utterly adored this game! I'm so excited to play the expanded version!

Thanks! We're working hard on it.

Cool concept, though I am constantly tripped up by the made up genetics (messed up the first level pretty badly a few times because I didn't read the cheat sheet in the corner at first, assuming that it would match basic genetics IRL). Best wishes for the Steam release!

Thanks!

(+3)

This game was so fun! Excited to see the expanded version

Does your game use any AI generated assets?

I don't want to sound rude by asking but I've wishlisted it on Steam and it has that telltale orange white balance. The capsule image and the newspaper article with the burning hospital in particular.

(+4)(-3)

Itch version use one AI music composition (it's mentioned on this page description). Steam version doesn't use any AI assets.

(+2)(-2)

Ah okay, thanks for replying ^^ Looking forward to seeing what you do with a fuller release. I've played paper please and that's not my neighbor before which are similar.

I think because of the orange hue/white balance in your artstyle, especially with the rise of the studio ghibli style generated pieces lately, it put that question in my head. Just thought I'd ask!

(+1)(-2)

What do you care if it uses AI? that's like asking if it used a co-programmer because you only play games with exactly one developer in the team. Or that you won't play any game that was ported to linux. Or that you don't play games made in godot.

Enough with the AI-hating, it's no different than a roomba: it only does what you tell it.

Girl shut up, I posted this comment a year ago and the dev already replied to me.

(-2)

I'll reply to whoever I want, thank you very much.

§Hiii ! I love the idea of the game and i really wanted to play but idk why when i launch the game it just stays at the ' godot game engine 'is it a glitch or is it supossed to take that long ? btw i downloaded it from the itch app , tysm if someone answers !! §

Hi, try to play in browser, many people report that Godot games don't run in itch app.

Love the game! Very creative!
Just one problem though... After all that time the screen was red my eyes hurt now and have difficulty focusing on other things...

(+1)

I loved it!!!

But i got a bu on the history mode where the whole game went red! IDK if it was just me, but i wanted to report either way. 10/10

Thanks for the feedback!

(+1)

That usually happens when you accidentally select the game window. I’ve done that multiple times as well and you can simply fix this deselecting it (so drag your mouse cursor from the bottom right corner to the top left) or just refreshing you browser.

I quite liked it, it was nerve wracking and made my hands shake with the timer sounds. 10/10 1ould play ten times again

Glad you like it!

how many endings are there?

(+1)

There are currently 3 endings.

ty,can i maybe get some hints on how to get those endings or maybe can you just tell me how to  get those endings please?

Endings depends on will you help the Order of Genesis, and your matching performance. So if you help order, you will get their ending. If you made more than 50% correct matches, you get government ending, else you get "fail" ending.

(2 edits)

tysm.Btw did you mean 50% correct matches on all days or just like one? Oh and is fail ending if i get all matches wrong on all days?

50% correct matches in total through all game. If you get all wrong on all days it also will be "fail" ending, yes.

Good game, but I got one with parents with the same skin color and same eyes, but there wasn't a baby that matched them, I cannot provide a screenshot as I was more focused on the clock at the tim

(+1)(-1)

Thanks, same colors for eyes and skin isn't a 100% sign, you also need to look at blood type and rh, and freckles.

I dont know why but game not open in my pc i need anything for it?

Are launching it in a browser? Which one?

(1 edit)

I was use my laptop with itch app

(+1)

Same here, seems to happen only with the itch.io app, on windows.. so, you install and launch the game from the itch.io with the launch button, it loads but never finish loading. Not sure why.. works for me in browser, on itch.io website so, still could play.

(+1)

Thank you for telling me. I wish you a good day.

(+1)

Great Game!!!

(+2)

I forgot to mention it in my google doc review, but perhaps a counter of X/X babies have been done might be good? That way as well the players are able to kind of know when to really rush or if they can take their time a little. Can't wait for the full game!

Thank you for detailed feedback!

(+3)

Great game. Thanks. I actually wonder how you'd make this a full game. I can play this for about half an hour. But I was glad that it was over after that.

Maybe that's just not a game for me.

(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! We're working on other game phases and mechanics, so it will be not just a puzzle, but a narrative game with dialogues and simple resource management.

(+4)

I saw the video about the steal issue about this game on YouTube. I feel sorry for you. But there is something botherinf me, how was it stolen? Did you open-source the full game? Did someone else had access on the project? Or was it a hacker that extracted the game from itch?

(+9)

It was simply just downloaded from itch and decompiled with GDRETools, than rebuilt for iOS. 5 minutes of work.

(+9)

Glory to Arstotzka!

game will not load. doesn't work for me

Sorry to hear that, please try Google Chrome browser.

(+2)

good game 4/5 for sure not bad

(+2)

I love the fact that there is a resistance to the Ministry; hinting that they're bad ppl

(+1)

this game is sick!! reminded me so much of not my neighbour!!!

(+1)

This was such a fun game to play! The different things you had to pay attention to kept the game interesting. Loved the story behind the game!

(1 edit) (+5)

Fun game! I would love to see it fleshed out into something more complex! One criticism I have is that its hrd for me to distinguish between light brown and dark brown hair, but I think thats just a skill issue.

(+1)

Thanks, we already working on the big game and launched a Steam page. We'll take your note about colors into account!

(+4)

This was fun!!! It is a little too easy since you can mostly just look at hair and blood-type. However, the difficulty might be just right for a simple, fun gaming session. One doesn't need to be a hardcore gamer to enjoy this.

(+2)

Cool game! :)

(+1)

Interesting game.

(+1)

super cute game; the mystery aspect was fun!

(+2)

Sadly froze after clicking the first start button on firefox, but worked on Chrome. Thanks for making!

(+1)

This is pretty cool. I love the mystery and the ideals of the dangers of eugenics

(+1)

Great Idea, Love it!
