Peak, I am so excited to see the rest of the story I love how your words change he scenes and is a pretty fun game to play.I love how you don´t see afraid to show the redflags of the characters and the racism and social problems that weren´t talked before. This game really made me remember internet and the conversations i hear from older people when i was young, the internal hate that came out as a normal thing to say, i was pretty in the game with those things, it just felt going back to those times. I had a good pychological analisis on the characters and some i loved and some not, not because they were bad, but because self problems ahhh, i love how each character is so explicit on their personality so unique, but u know when they are forcing themselfs to something, when they feel sad, the way Lane tolds us his love trauma was very Lane, and sad, and indeed, it sounds like the election a kid will do when someone break their heart, because nobody taught this man how to be love or love himself… and really? getting a pircing for your crush? pookie… at least you look hot with them i suppose. They are not afraid to show when the characters have fragile masculinity and in different ways, is pretty cool to see. The problem with Amelia that I still don’t know what happen but i kinda theorize that she… had a crush on us? maybe. Idk, as a pansexual man if all the guys in town were this shit i would be already with the girls. And the conversation of “all man all shit, well, not all man but always a man” was very realistic, a have heard it hundreds before, and was very good getting you in the time of the story, i am not missing those times but the men that we see in these game do r pretty little shits time to time, always, ever. I was really sad of how the relationship with Amelia turned up, like she even wanted to talk with us, but couldn’t bring herself to it, i felt so sad and identified. Amelia remins me of a exbestfriend I felt in love with once in personality, i kinda hate it and love it to see it potrait in a game. I love Amelia as a character and would to talk to her about what happened, like i couldn’t in real life. I feel so guilty for hating on her when i first played the game just because the trauma this “friend” left me, but is okey, i love Amelia so much, i love how she feels like a real person, with all her shades and perspectives, with her feelings, her ups and downs, her own believes. All the characters are amazing.And who say i didn’t want to know more about that man’s dog?!! I WANT TO, TELL ME MORE SIR, PLEASEE and i loved the lady with her daughter, felt so realistic seeing diferent characters with their own lives and problems in a game, even being npcs. Loved it.Thx for having so much warnings, i think it was very important and helped me a lot to understand the game too and so to not take it as it were being romantized. Thankfully i played the game in good mood times and not i gonna cry mood time like i normaly do when i gonna play a visualnovel. Don’t romantize the biker boy! this guys is a creep, but i would love to see a scar below his helmet but like a biiig scar, idk why but a imagine him with a big fire scar that took his whole face, idk why sorry.
Bugs
Sadly it keeps lagging on my pc (really bad pc) so a dowloaded it on my tablet and only was able to play it there. The other problem… Is the discover mode?? idk how u call it but i gonna call it the search mode, when you go search through the map and check all the things, do your tacks ect… It almost impossible… You see, when i play in pc is been many moments where I, accidently, used the the reverse in the mouse and it literally make me re do my searchs like 10 times because it keeped going to the dialogue and erasing my progresss, it was so frustrating, specially with how laggy was to play it. The ohter problem (that i got on my pc and phone) is the saves, when you save in search mode, you leave and load the save: it reset, completely. And I, person that lieks to click everything he sees, check all the secrets and discover how many hairs has the floor on a game, was frustrated as hell :,3 especially when i took my sweet time checking all the places (like in day two the scene is long, especially is you spam conversations with Lane) so it was like… my progress— Especially when i was on pc it was hell, every 5 minutes the dialogue became so laggy it became impossible to read, i have suffer it in many other heavy visual novels, the trick is save where u are, close and reopen the game, thats it, do it how many times it happens and u can keep playing relaxed, with pauses but u can- the thing, you dont know how many times per second my game lag so i had to save and load again, because of that i couldn´t get to the half of the second day even. In phone something like that happens, but if you turn off your phone, or it turns off automatly, even a second after you gotta reset the game and try again (so sad if u didn’t save) because the screen becomes black pitch and not able to play anymore. Happened with my phone AND tablet, is weird because i have played many visual novels in my 3 devices and this NEVER happened on any before, with any visualnovel. Actually i went and played another visualnovel in my phone the nexxt second to check if it happens too and no, i turn on and off the screen many times and the games just keeps working perfectly. This is probably just bugs… but it would be cute if you check it out! Because i am pretty sure i am only gonna be able to play the next updates on my tablet :,3333 I am in love with this games and the characters and wanna EXPRIMIR all the things they and this game can offer, so i will love to not have to quit it for bugs of or my devices (which is not ur fault or responsability ik=3) But i would be very gratefull if you check it! thxxxx

Hello, I’d like to report a bug I’m experiencing (on Android) at the start of the first turn—specifically, I believe it happens every time this option appears. When I go to enter my name, "Your Name" appears by default, but I can't delete it. So, it ends up looking like "Your Name Dengel," and that’s how the characters refer to me throughout the game. Also, if I type my nickname after "Your Name" and move forward, when I go back, I can no longer delete my nickname; I can only type more text after it.
(I’m using a translator, so I apologize if anything doesn't make sense.)

I really like the dynamic of interacting with the backround to unlock certain dialogues and certain scenes. also the best build for the characters´ lore, it is simply cinema. I love how interactive you are with us too in tumblr and other media! I have so many theories and questions that I cannot wait to discover with every update you bring us. bb and lane? AT THE SAME DAMN TIME! but I must confess I have a soft spot for Laney and he might be my favourite hehe, but they´re both scrumptious ajhasldkjf anyway, thank you for this masterpiece. I hope we can see more of it, no pressure at all. I loved playing this so much! The writing, art, and little details (best when indiscreet) are what made the visual novel most enjoyable for me. So much of the conversations seem to flow so well and to such an extended length I honestly get impressed as someone who likes to write - since I know how hard it can be to keep track of dialogue after a point. ESPECIALLY in a game like this with mystery abound everywhere and every sentence needing to hold and read in that same purpose. Having to keep log of all that must be hard! But that's also the charm of it: finding out who these characters are through interaction and WORD! On that note, I read another comment critiquing how unusually 'slow' Big Bad Dogs seem to progress for a yandere game, and that it may do good for it to lean in more with the obsession much earlier in the plot. As a player who loves BBD and all its hundreds of thousands of words - PLEASE DON'T CHANGE THIS! Your effort and passion truly shows. There are many, many, many visual novels on this site (a lot of which are yandere-themed) that are already very cut-to-the-chase, linear, and predictable. And while there's nothing wrong with that, that doesn't mean these kind of games should have to always fit that pattern to be enjoyable or acceptable within the genre. I view BBD as a passion project above all. It would be a shame to smother that by condensing your creativity in fewer words or less build-up of intrigue, just to cater to an audience only in it for the immediate 'climax' of a story revolving around obsession. In my opinion, I could only love this VN so much because we are able to thoroughly learn these characters. It's what makes their motives that much more meaningful. When they seem like an actual person with history rather than a stereotypical vessel for overused and easy tropes. I can honestly say I'd put in much more hours than I have now to gain even the barest hint of what BB may look like. Or his time in the army. And more of his quirky preferences and habits. Or even the kind of man his father is for BB to barely speak about in comparison to his mother.
All that to say, I really like the direction Big Bad Dogs is going in! Please keep it up!

Hello! I started playing the game and tried to skip through the dialogue to unseen text, but I noticed that it also skips text I haven't seen yet. Does anyone know how to fix this issue or is it a mistake by the creator?
I've also had the same problem and even with all the settings disabled it's still something that happens. I'm just assuming it's something with the game code idk
I've played multiple visual novels in my life, each one had it's touch of creativity. But yours is really special, too special indeed. when I first saw it on Itchio I knew I am downloading a masterpiece. I am not even glazing anymore this game is so good that I've been talking to every one of my friends about it and can't really take it ouf of my mind. and I really appreciate the amount of effort the developer and whoever else worked on this game, the writing, the drawing, the artstyle and everything else.
But I wanted to also express some stuff that made me a little upset while playing.
The MC sometimes make me feel... weird?... the answers really don't make sense to me at least, like BB would talk in fluent english about whatever serious topic, and MC response is really short. or just sometimes feels unserious, I remember a line when MC said "I'm one of the boys", I'll be fully honest with you... it did make cringe a bit... but I don't mind it much... I hope you understand what I mean. I don't mean to be rude and say that the MC is written badly or anything, rather that it could be better.
I'm not sure if this part I'm about to say made me upset, honestly it made me giggle rather than upset... There were like 7 or less words that were typos... (yes, I am that unemployed that I counted them 😭)
And last, It's about the third shift... I found it really long, not boring but it made me lose hope in finding anything interesting in the garage... it took me hours nonstop just walking around it, talking to everyone again and again and again... same thing in the convenience store... I clicked the objects more than once to make sure I didn't forget anything... It was definitely exhausting...
Other than that, I don't think I faced any issues. I will be waiting for shift 3.5 and 4, I hope you take everything slow and know that your work is loved and appreciated by a lot of people including me, and that your effort is seen. Good luck <3!!

Happened to me too. The only thing that worked for me was to skip shift 1 and start on shift 2. Also bring the umbrella to ensure safety ig (not sure about this, but it worked anyway). hope this helps :3
Have you tried talking to the weird guy that comes in at the start of the shift? Or watching the TV before going to bed on shift 1? I think that may be why you keep ending up on the stalker ending. Because the MC is unaware of all the missing people stuff. Try see if that works ^^

Hello! I recently got a laptop and was trying to download the first version (shift 1 and 2) but for some reason i can only find the chinese ver. downloads. After hours of trying things i ended up just getting the chinese ver and changing the language to english, although most of it stays in english the small texts (like when you interact with things) remain in chinese. Has anyone else had this issue?? I would really like to play the english version but after trying every single download file i’m starting to lose hope :(
I finally finished all routes except the drunk route. The characters are all flawed and interesting. Even though I know the story depicts the characters this way intentionally, I ABHOR "women, female" talk because of Gamergate. So it's really a marvel that I genuinely enjoy these characters. The details, banter, and time period bring them together as people who are detached from the world at large but unconsciously desperately seek a sense of belonging.

BB Discussion
I'm glad the story doesn't overuse yandere tropes (though I'm still sick of hearing wOmEn and fEmAlE—like, I get it, you identify as a man, thanks for coming out) and actually explores the character. I wonder if it's a language barrier or intentional, because Mademoiselle is cringe as hell, and I get goosebumps from years of being on the internet with incels throughout the 2000s. It's more my own PTSD than the fault of the writing.
From his environment, upbringing, and coworkers, we understand WHY he's like a stalker because of his idea of "rationality" and "protection." Something happened to the MC; he can protect her and maybe knew her before, so he follows her around and obsesses over her. Because unknowingly, he seeks purpose and meaning in his life.
One thing I wonder about is the logic behind BB feeling angry at the MC for being with Lane. He stated that the MC is not some object to be owned, yet he still feels entitled to her. I guess the characters in this game are consistent in their irrationality—they all say things they don't actually believe in but keep repeating them until it becomes true.
Shift 3 really tried my patience with BB's route. Some doors aren't labeled, some are. It's also not really believable that she'd freely snoop around someone's workplace. I enjoy the conversation that spawned from the dog tag, but the way she chanced upon it was forced. What do you mean you're peeking around in some business's PRIVATE LOCKER ROOM? I get that the mechanics knew about BB's change and were playing matchmaker, introducing their son to this hot/understanding girl they met, so they basically dump out BB's entire history with very little prompting. My advice would be: have a mechanic ask MC to get something from the locker room, unlock the locker room, then let MC go in and out freely. On a fetch-the-item run, trigger an event by the lockers where the dog tag falls and she picks it up to take a look. There are several dialogues indicating sequence breaking, like you can get keys in a different order. Unfortunately, dialogues like getting keys in a toilet or on the ground still require talking to the "Quest Giver," so to speak. And the MC acts like she cannot connect one thing to another when spotting the key(s).
My favorite part with BB is when the MC does something bold, like putting a hand on BB's helmet and saying he's enough, or the MC protecting BB from sexual harassment at work. Interactions like this make the relationship feel less one-sided—it feels like the pair actually has preferences and isn't just stuck together because this is a romance horror game.
Lane Discussion
His character is immensely transparent but emotionally resonant for lonely people. He seeks approval and, given the wrong kind of attention, creates toxic attachment and detachment cycles. It's built up by patriarchy, and he has no emotional resistance. Then he wonders why he has no meaningful relationships.
Conversations between him and the MC have a familiarity that shows these are two people very used to each other's presence. The annoying part is that their conversations go in CIRCLES, like the shower-before-going-to-work part. I think while the MC has a point, it feels out of character that she—a model employee—would waste time arguing while she's about to be late. From several instances with the LIs, I think she has clean-freak tendencies, but the problem is that her other behavior and her own room don't reflect this. This is also a side effect of the inconsistent MC characterization that weakens the story.
One thing I dislike about getting into his route is that the MC keeps having to choose dialogue that flatters or compromises with him. I really dislike this because it feels like she's a pushover. Outside of choices she DOES meaningfully pushes back, it's a shame that's not reflected in gameplay. Maybe this will change little by little in later shifts. And that'll be pretty good character, but given the foundation of MC and Lane's relationship is entirely based on her giving in to his worst tendencies, it's really unbelievable if he improves through the power of love. I really don't get that vibe from the story though. So this is just another case of my trauma from gamergate being very much translate into me having a very low personal opinion of this character while still liking how the story depicts him.
Amelia
I like her and am excited for her route. She's the older sister who has to do everything right while the youngest fumbles about and gets everything. She lashes out and feels angry at the world, hurting others in the process. I really wonder what "event" caused the MC and Amelia to avoid each other. Maybe she's related to RB. She has such a strong personality and characterization that, in short appearances, she steals the scene completely. Eager to explore her controlling tendencies towards the MC and their history.
MC Analysis
Lastly, I have to preface that the next part is about our MC—and it's not exactly positive.
She is easily the weakest part of the story. I like that she's a very unreliable narrator, but she felt like a reactive mouthpiece whose choices don't matter at all. Now, I know that choices DO matter, as there are multiple routes, extra dialogue, and secrets that all stem from choices. But the problem is that many choice options felt divorced from their consequences. Why do some choices lead to the MC offing herself? It's in bad taste when a character kills themselves simply because they didn't curry enough favor with LIs. Why is lying to Lane about BB breaking the door considered an offensive action that the MC should feel bad about? She's a stickler for the rules. Why is she obligated to tell her coworker about BB breaking the door when it may drag both her and BB down? (It's fine that Lane makes a stink about it, but the way the MC acts like his wild accusation is right is incredibly annoying.)
There are several parts of the story where she seeks confirmation from the LIs, like "Are you jealous?" and "Do you have a girlfriend?" For the most part, I like that about her—she's lonely, her humor is actually similar to Lane's without the rampant misogyny, she just cut off the only friendship in her life, and she's used to male attention where she internalizes that for some of her worth and fears.
The problem is that she says these things unprompted, making her seem incredibly insecure and attached to your weird male coworker OR that guy you met for three days at the worst opportunity such as when they finally has a heart to heart. The biggest crime, however, is that it breaks the flow of conversation into circular arguments or meaningless banter, which usually provides nothing of value to both characters besides making the MC look bad. There's an easy fix for this: give her more internal dialogue when talking to the guys and have her actually tell the reader she said some sentences without thinking. The best example where the MC's irrationality and involuntary reactions can be used for good story effect is during Shift 2 when Lane and BB argue. It actually felt like she's panicking and just sided with Lane because she's known Lane for longer. As much as I wish there's more writing indicating her mood at the time of the argument.
The best way I could put my thoughts on the MC as a character is that she has post-traumatic brain damage. Due to the open-ended nature of the point-and-click segments, it seems like she has no persistent memory. It's not just gameplay either—in the story, she questioned herself a single time for falling for BB, and that's it. She asks very few questions after this guy you just met knows where you live. I get that she's avoiding the truth in her memories, but MY GOD, GIRL, YOU HAVE A SURVIVAL INSTINCT OF A SUNFISH. BB is like the worst liar, and he's in luck because his object of obsession suffers from brain trauma and has NO ACTUVE RECALL ABILITIES.
The guys get some reason or sympathy (from the MC or their coworkers) for their behavior, but the MC DOES NOT EXPLAIN HERSELF and just says things reflexively (which IS a symptom of brain damage or extreme trauma.)
As of now, it feels like there's a shadow of a person in the MC, and she just exists for the characterization of the guys. I actually hope the fact she has so little depth is making a point about her trauma literally erasing the person she was before the traumatic memory loss. I hope the mystery actually fleshes her out. Where's her family? Did she have friends outside of Amelia before? What are her dreams? What are her hobbies other than checking other people's hygiene and not understanding "guy" stuff? Amelia is the only character who ever called her out because she knew the MC. There's a lot more subtle behavior in her normal dialogue of contradictions. Like saying the job is good for stability even though she makes minimum wage and is actively endangered while working that night shift. It's almost like she unconsciously wanted to stay because of a reason she has since forgotten. And for future shifts, I really want someone to point that out.
I get that Lane and BB both have reasons not to point out her memory loss and behavior, but it just seems cruel that the MC invests so much into reaffirming/understanding these guys, and they just think some of her insecurities and mannerisms are "female"—and nothing else.
I wrote a lot because I'm truly invested in the mysteries. despite my review the art direction and story is really amazing. Thank you very much, author, for making this game!
Also a weird theory I have is that she is RB and suffered a motorcycle incident. But there's too many contradicting evidence on that theory. But I thought it'd be fun. I feel like MC is very trapped in her life? Makes sense she'd seek motorcycling out as a way of release. What if the night shift help fund her attend motorcycle races in the day? That will make alot of "Oh you're a woman, you wouldn't know" talk funny.
Anyway as of SHIFT 3 I don't think there's any evidence supporting my wild head cannon lol.
I downloaded the game thinking this is going to be another quick game, but I was surprised by the depth of story!
1/I love the story, I love the realism in characters (they r not just hot dangerous men, they feel real).
2/I love the slow burn between MC and the guys, especially with BB (even tho I want to kiss BB so bad).
3/I love how well written BB is (the others too). the way he speaks to MC is so manly/gentle/respectful. & at the same time we still can shake the feeling of him hiding something dangerous (the things we forgot/ his dark possessive side).
4/I like that we can move around and interact with things/characters not just read the story (the environment gave me good experience).
5/I love the art, it's sooo good (I wanna bite on BB's biceps lol).
6/Appreciation point for my girl Amelia + Serkan (i want to share his mom's meal with him) + Salmon.
7/I froze the moment BB said 2003, that happened in my country.
Questions:
1/ will we be able to see BB's face at some point?
2/Can BB not read/write at all? or was it a joke? I was confused.

you know i feel like bb and rb are the same person but at the same time no…cus remember when bb followed us home and neighbour said that its not necessary cus a red guy dude was already doing it and bb said but my helmet is black and the key we saw at bb’s work didn’t exactly say that it was his it just said motorcycle key and at the same time i feel like it might be Serkan’s idk just a hunch like his also wearing something red what iff it’s foreshadowing or maybe bb saw who was stalking us and just simply didn’t tell us

The bike pic shows the bike was red and if u flip it, it says (2004) meaning when BB was in still in war. RB most likely crashed while riding with MC later when BB was back (that's why she lost her memory). And this black & white world seems like an "illusion"? caused by BB idk or maybe MC was just having a panic attack.

Amelia remins me of a exbestfriend I felt in love with once in personality, i kinda hate it and love it to see it potrait in a game. I love Amelia as a character and would to talk to her about what happened, like i couldn’t in real life. I feel so guilty for hating on her when i first played the game just because the trauma this “friend” left me, but is okey, i love Amelia so much, i love how she feels like a real person, with all her shades and perspectives, with her feelings, her ups and downs, her own believes. All the characters are amazing.And who say i didn’t want to know more about that man’s dog?!! I WANT TO, TELL ME MORE SIR, PLEASEE and i loved the lady with her daughter, felt so realistic seeing diferent characters with their own lives and problems in a game, even being npcs. Loved it.Thx for having so much warnings, i think it was very important and helped me a lot to understand the game too and so to not take it as it were being romantized. Thankfully i played the game in good mood times and not i gonna cry mood time like i normaly do when i gonna play a visualnovel. Don’t romantize the biker boy! this guys is a creep, but i would love to see a scar below his helmet but like a biiig scar, idk why but a imagine him with a big fire scar that took his whole face, idk why sorry.
Bugs
Sadly it keeps lagging on my pc (really bad pc) so a dowloaded it on my tablet and only was able to play it there. The other problem… Is the discover mode?? idk how u call it but i gonna call it the search mode, when you go search through the map and check all the things, do your tacks ect… It almost impossible… You see, when i play in pc is been many moments where I, accidently, used the the reverse in the mouse and it literally make me re do my searchs like 10 times because it keeped going to the dialogue and erasing my progresss, it was so frustrating, specially with how laggy was to play it. The ohter problem (that i got on my pc and phone) is the saves, when you save in search mode, you leave and load the save: it reset, completely. And I, person that lieks to click everything he sees, check all the secrets and discover how many hairs has the floor on a game, was frustrated as hell :,3 especially when i took my sweet time checking all the places (like in day two the scene is long, especially is you spam conversations with Lane) so it was like… my progress— Especially when i was on pc it was hell, every 5 minutes the dialogue became so laggy it became impossible to read, i have suffer it in many other heavy visual novels, the trick is save where u are, close and reopen the game, thats it, do it how many times it happens and u can keep playing relaxed, with pauses but u can- the thing, you dont know how many times per second my game lag so i had to save and load again, because of that i couldn´t get to the half of the second day even. In phone something like that happens, but if you turn off your phone, or it turns off automatly, even a second after you gotta reset the game and try again (so sad if u didn’t save) because the screen becomes black pitch and not able to play anymore. Happened with my phone AND tablet, is weird because i have played many visual novels in my 3 devices and this NEVER happened on any before, with any visualnovel. Actually i went and played another visualnovel in my phone the nexxt second to check if it happens too and no, i turn on and off the screen many times and the games just keeps working perfectly. This is probably just bugs… but it would be cute if you check it out! Because i am pretty sure i am only gonna be able to play the next updates on my tablet :,3333 I am in love with this games and the characters and wanna EXPRIMIR all the things they and this game can offer, so i will love to not have to quit it for bugs of or my devices (which is not ur fault or responsability ik=3) But i would be very gratefull if you check it! thxxxx

Hello, I’d like to report a bug I’m experiencing (on Android) at the start of the first turn—specifically, I believe it happens every time this option appears. When I go to enter my name, "Your Name" appears by default, but I can't delete it. So, it ends up looking like "Your Name Dengel," and that’s how the characters refer to me throughout the game. Also, if I type my nickname after "Your Name" and move forward, when I go back, I can no longer delete my nickname; I can only type more text after it.
(I’m using a translator, so I apologize if anything doesn't make sense.)

I loved playing this so much! The writing, art, and little details (best when indiscreet) are what made the visual novel most enjoyable for me. So much of the conversations seem to flow so well and to such an extended length I honestly get impressed as someone who likes to write - since I know how hard it can be to keep track of dialogue after a point. ESPECIALLY in a game like this with mystery abound everywhere and every sentence needing to hold and read in that same purpose. Having to keep log of all that must be hard! But that's also the charm of it: finding out who these characters are through interaction and WORD! On that note, I read another comment critiquing how unusually 'slow' Big Bad Dogs seem to progress for a yandere game, and that it may do good for it to lean in more with the obsession much earlier in the plot. As a player who loves BBD and all its hundreds of thousands of words - PLEASE DON'T CHANGE THIS! Your effort and passion truly shows. There are many, many, many visual novels on this site (a lot of which are yandere-themed) that are already very cut-to-the-chase, linear, and predictable. And while there's nothing wrong with that, that doesn't mean these kind of games should have to always fit that pattern to be enjoyable or acceptable within the genre. I view BBD as a passion project above all. It would be a shame to smother that by condensing your creativity in fewer words or less build-up of intrigue, just to cater to an audience only in it for the immediate 'climax' of a story revolving around obsession. In my opinion, I could only love this VN so much because we are able to thoroughly learn these characters. It's what makes their motives that much more meaningful. When they seem like an actual person with history rather than a stereotypical vessel for overused and easy tropes. I can honestly say I'd put in much more hours than I have now to gain even the barest hint of what BB may look like. Or his time in the army. And more of his quirky preferences and habits. Or even the kind of man his father is for BB to barely speak about in comparison to his mother.
All that to say, I really like the direction Big Bad Dogs is going in! Please keep it up!

check the settings of the game I think it should say something abt the skipping options and unselect all of them

I've played multiple visual novels in my life, each one had it's touch of creativity. But yours is really special, too special indeed. when I first saw it on Itchio I knew I am downloading a masterpiece. I am not even glazing anymore this game is so good that I've been talking to every one of my friends about it and can't really take it ouf of my mind. and I really appreciate the amount of effort the developer and whoever else worked on this game, the writing, the drawing, the artstyle and everything else.
But I wanted to also express some stuff that made me a little upset while playing.
The MC sometimes make me feel... weird?... the answers really don't make sense to me at least, like BB would talk in fluent english about whatever serious topic, and MC response is really short. or just sometimes feels unserious, I remember a line when MC said "I'm one of the boys", I'll be fully honest with you... it did make cringe a bit... but I don't mind it much... I hope you understand what I mean. I don't mean to be rude and say that the MC is written badly or anything, rather that it could be better.
I'm not sure if this part I'm about to say made me upset, honestly it made me giggle rather than upset... There were like 7 or less words that were typos... (yes, I am that unemployed that I counted them 😭)
And last, It's about the third shift... I found it really long, not boring but it made me lose hope in finding anything interesting in the garage... it took me hours nonstop just walking around it, talking to everyone again and again and again... same thing in the convenience store... I clicked the objects more than once to make sure I didn't forget anything... It was definitely exhausting...
Other than that, I don't think I faced any issues. I will be waiting for shift 3.5 and 4, I hope you take everything slow and know that your work is loved and appreciated by a lot of people including me, and that your effort is seen. Good luck <3!!

Happened to me too. The only thing that worked for me was to skip shift 1 and start on shift 2. Also bring the umbrella to ensure safety ig (not sure about this, but it worked anyway). hope this helps :3

Have you tried talking to the weird guy that comes in at the start of the shift? Or watching the TV before going to bed on shift 1? I think that may be why you keep ending up on the stalker ending. Because the MC is unaware of all the missing people stuff. Try see if that works ^^

Hello! I recently got a laptop and was trying to download the first version (shift 1 and 2) but for some reason i can only find the chinese ver. downloads. After hours of trying things i ended up just getting the chinese ver and changing the language to english, although most of it stays in english the small texts (like when you interact with things) remain in chinese. Has anyone else had this issue?? I would really like to play the english version but after trying every single download file i’m starting to lose hope :(

Shift 1-3 Review
I finally finished all routes except the drunk route. The characters are all flawed and interesting. Even though I know the story depicts the characters this way intentionally, I ABHOR "women, female" talk because of Gamergate. So it's really a marvel that I genuinely enjoy these characters. The details, banter, and time period bring them together as people who are detached from the world at large but unconsciously desperately seek a sense of belonging.

BB Discussion
I'm glad the story doesn't overuse yandere tropes (though I'm still sick of hearing wOmEn and fEmAlE—like, I get it, you identify as a man, thanks for coming out) and actually explores the character. I wonder if it's a language barrier or intentional, because Mademoiselle is cringe as hell, and I get goosebumps from years of being on the internet with incels throughout the 2000s. It's more my own PTSD than the fault of the writing.
From his environment, upbringing, and coworkers, we understand WHY he's like a stalker because of his idea of "rationality" and "protection." Something happened to the MC; he can protect her and maybe knew her before, so he follows her around and obsesses over her. Because unknowingly, he seeks purpose and meaning in his life.
One thing I wonder about is the logic behind BB feeling angry at the MC for being with Lane. He stated that the MC is not some object to be owned, yet he still feels entitled to her. I guess the characters in this game are consistent in their irrationality—they all say things they don't actually believe in but keep repeating them until it becomes true.
Shift 3 really tried my patience with BB's route. Some doors aren't labeled, some are. It's also not really believable that she'd freely snoop around someone's workplace. I enjoy the conversation that spawned from the dog tag, but the way she chanced upon it was forced. What do you mean you're peeking around in some business's PRIVATE LOCKER ROOM? I get that the mechanics knew about BB's change and were playing matchmaker, introducing their son to this hot/understanding girl they met, so they basically dump out BB's entire history with very little prompting. My advice would be: have a mechanic ask MC to get something from the locker room, unlock the locker room, then let MC go in and out freely. On a fetch-the-item run, trigger an event by the lockers where the dog tag falls and she picks it up to take a look. There are several dialogues indicating sequence breaking, like you can get keys in a different order. Unfortunately, dialogues like getting keys in a toilet or on the ground still require talking to the "Quest Giver," so to speak. And the MC acts like she cannot connect one thing to another when spotting the key(s).
My favorite part with BB is when the MC does something bold, like putting a hand on BB's helmet and saying he's enough, or the MC protecting BB from sexual harassment at work. Interactions like this make the relationship feel less one-sided—it feels like the pair actually has preferences and isn't just stuck together because this is a romance horror game.
Lane Discussion
His character is immensely transparent but emotionally resonant for lonely people. He seeks approval and, given the wrong kind of attention, creates toxic attachment and detachment cycles. It's built up by patriarchy, and he has no emotional resistance. Then he wonders why he has no meaningful relationships.
Conversations between him and the MC have a familiarity that shows these are two people very used to each other's presence. The annoying part is that their conversations go in CIRCLES, like the shower-before-going-to-work part. I think while the MC has a point, it feels out of character that she—a model employee—would waste time arguing while she's about to be late. From several instances with the LIs, I think she has clean-freak tendencies, but the problem is that her other behavior and her own room don't reflect this. This is also a side effect of the inconsistent MC characterization that weakens the story.
One thing I dislike about getting into his route is that the MC keeps having to choose dialogue that flatters or compromises with him. I really dislike this because it feels like she's a pushover. Outside of choices she DOES meaningfully pushes back, it's a shame that's not reflected in gameplay. Maybe this will change little by little in later shifts. And that'll be pretty good character, but given the foundation of MC and Lane's relationship is entirely based on her giving in to his worst tendencies, it's really unbelievable if he improves through the power of love. I really don't get that vibe from the story though. So this is just another case of my trauma from gamergate being very much translate into me having a very low personal opinion of this character while still liking how the story depicts him.
Amelia
I like her and am excited for her route. She's the older sister who has to do everything right while the youngest fumbles about and gets everything. She lashes out and feels angry at the world, hurting others in the process. I really wonder what "event" caused the MC and Amelia to avoid each other. Maybe she's related to RB. She has such a strong personality and characterization that, in short appearances, she steals the scene completely. Eager to explore her controlling tendencies towards the MC and their history.
MC Analysis
Lastly, I have to preface that the next part is about our MC—and it's not exactly positive.
She is easily the weakest part of the story. I like that she's a very unreliable narrator, but she felt like a reactive mouthpiece whose choices don't matter at all. Now, I know that choices DO matter, as there are multiple routes, extra dialogue, and secrets that all stem from choices. But the problem is that many choice options felt divorced from their consequences. Why do some choices lead to the MC offing herself? It's in bad taste when a character kills themselves simply because they didn't curry enough favor with LIs. Why is lying to Lane about BB breaking the door considered an offensive action that the MC should feel bad about? She's a stickler for the rules. Why is she obligated to tell her coworker about BB breaking the door when it may drag both her and BB down? (It's fine that Lane makes a stink about it, but the way the MC acts like his wild accusation is right is incredibly annoying.)
There are several parts of the story where she seeks confirmation from the LIs, like "Are you jealous?" and "Do you have a girlfriend?" For the most part, I like that about her—she's lonely, her humor is actually similar to Lane's without the rampant misogyny, she just cut off the only friendship in her life, and she's used to male attention where she internalizes that for some of her worth and fears.
The problem is that she says these things unprompted, making her seem incredibly insecure and attached to your weird male coworker OR that guy you met for three days at the worst opportunity such as when they finally has a heart to heart. The biggest crime, however, is that it breaks the flow of conversation into circular arguments or meaningless banter, which usually provides nothing of value to both characters besides making the MC look bad. There's an easy fix for this: give her more internal dialogue when talking to the guys and have her actually tell the reader she said some sentences without thinking. The best example where the MC's irrationality and involuntary reactions can be used for good story effect is during Shift 2 when Lane and BB argue. It actually felt like she's panicking and just sided with Lane because she's known Lane for longer. As much as I wish there's more writing indicating her mood at the time of the argument.
The best way I could put my thoughts on the MC as a character is that she has post-traumatic brain damage. Due to the open-ended nature of the point-and-click segments, it seems like she has no persistent memory. It's not just gameplay either—in the story, she questioned herself a single time for falling for BB, and that's it. She asks very few questions after this guy you just met knows where you live. I get that she's avoiding the truth in her memories, but MY GOD, GIRL, YOU HAVE A SURVIVAL INSTINCT OF A SUNFISH. BB is like the worst liar, and he's in luck because his object of obsession suffers from brain trauma and has NO ACTUVE RECALL ABILITIES.
The guys get some reason or sympathy (from the MC or their coworkers) for their behavior, but the MC DOES NOT EXPLAIN HERSELF and just says things reflexively (which IS a symptom of brain damage or extreme trauma.)
As of now, it feels like there's a shadow of a person in the MC, and she just exists for the characterization of the guys. I actually hope the fact she has so little depth is making a point about her trauma literally erasing the person she was before the traumatic memory loss. I hope the mystery actually fleshes her out. Where's her family? Did she have friends outside of Amelia before? What are her dreams? What are her hobbies other than checking other people's hygiene and not understanding "guy" stuff? Amelia is the only character who ever called her out because she knew the MC. There's a lot more subtle behavior in her normal dialogue of contradictions. Like saying the job is good for stability even though she makes minimum wage and is actively endangered while working that night shift. It's almost like she unconsciously wanted to stay because of a reason she has since forgotten. And for future shifts, I really want someone to point that out.
I get that Lane and BB both have reasons not to point out her memory loss and behavior, but it just seems cruel that the MC invests so much into reaffirming/understanding these guys, and they just think some of her insecurities and mannerisms are "female"—and nothing else.
I wrote a lot because I'm truly invested in the mysteries. despite my review the art direction and story is really amazing. Thank you very much, author, for making this game!
Also a weird theory I have is that she is RB and suffered a motorcycle incident. But there's too many contradicting evidence on that theory. But I thought it'd be fun. I feel like MC is very trapped in her life? Makes sense she'd seek motorcycling out as a way of release. What if the night shift help fund her attend motorcycle races in the day? That will make alot of "Oh you're a woman, you wouldn't know" talk funny.
Anyway as of SHIFT 3 I don't think there's any evidence supporting my wild head cannon lol.

I downloaded the game thinking this is going to be another quick game, but I was surprised by the depth of story!
1/I love the story, I love the realism in characters (they r not just hot dangerous men, they feel real).
2/I love the slow burn between MC and the guys, especially with BB (even tho I want to kiss BB so bad).
3/I love how well written BB is (the others too). the way he speaks to MC is so manly/gentle/respectful. & at the same time we still can shake the feeling of him hiding something dangerous (the things we forgot/ his dark possessive side).
4/I like that we can move around and interact with things/characters not just read the story (the environment gave me good experience).
5/I love the art, it's sooo good (I wanna bite on BB's biceps lol).
6/Appreciation point for my girl Amelia + Serkan (i want to share his mom's meal with him) + Salmon.
7/I froze the moment BB said 2003, that happened in my country.
Questions:
1/ will we be able to see BB's face at some point?

The bike pic shows the bike was red and if u flip it, it says (2004) meaning when BB was in still in war. RB most likely crashed while riding with MC later when BB was back (that's why she lost her memory). And this black & white world seems like an "illusion"? caused by BB idk or maybe MC was just having a panic attack.
